Clyde Peeling’s Reptiland

Community Arts Center
Referred to as the “Jewel of Downtown Williamsport”, this fully restored 1920’s theater holds a 2,200-seat house. On any given night at the Arts Center you will find a Broadway musical, concert, musical review, or film.

Crosscutters-Professional Baseball Club
Class A minor league affiliate of the Pittsburgh Pirates. Member of the 14-team New York-Penn League. Home games at historic Bowman Field. Opened in 1926, this field is the second oldest minor league stadium still operating. It has undergone a complete $1.5 million in renovation.

Penn’s Cave
America’s only all-water cavern and wildlife park. Enjoy a cavern tour and wildlife tour. You will be entertained, as well as educated about the geology, biology, and geography of Central Pennsylvania.

Pennsylvania Grand Canyon
Situated in approximately 160,000 acres of the Tioga State Forest lies the Grand Canyon of Pennsylvania. The exposed rock formations are over 350 million years old. Be sure to bring your camera as the numerous overlooks offer spectacular views.

Scottish Rite/Acacia Club & Little Theater

Thomas T. Taber Museum
Explore the history of north-central PA in this museum dedicated to major events of the region’s history and everyday life including displays on the West Branch Canal, a Tiffany stained glass window, and a model of the Susquehanna Boom plus Shempp Model Train Exhibition featuring over 300 complete toy trains.

The Williamsport Trolleys
Williamsport’s millionaires in the 1800’s helped pave the way for the city’s first form of public transportation – the streetcar. Today, Williamsport City Bus recreates that era with the Peter Herdic, Anne Weightman, and Carl Stotz Trolleys.

Mardi Gras

Downtown Arts & Crafts Festival

Billtown Blues Festival
If you like blues music – or any kind of music for that matter – you need to be at the Billtown Blues Festival held at the Lycoming County Fairgrounds.

Hiawatha Riverfest Regatta
Enjoy a weekend of sanctioned boat racing, boat parades, water ski show, and more. There will also be craft and food vendors, live bands, and children’s activities.

Lycoming County Fair
It’s one of the area’s biggest events. Spend a day or several days enjoying all the exhibits, rides, games, and, of course, food. Top-notch entertainment and a fabulous fireworks display will be sure to keep the crowds happy.

Homade Days
The name says it all. All things ‘homade’ will be the spotlight during this annual event in Williamsport’s historic tree-filled Brandon Park. From crafts, artwork, and food, there will be vendors galore.

Annual Loyalsock Valley Early Days
Old farm machines come to life at the Loyalsock Valley Early Days. See how it was done years ago as tractors, steam engines, and antique cars strut their stuff. Lumberjack events, flea markets, and food vendors will also be on hand.

Little League Baseball World Series
This is the event that helped put Williamsport ‘on the map.’ People from across the country and across the world flock to central Pennsylvania for the Little League Baseball World Series. You have seen it on television, now come and see where it all happens.

Fall Foliage Train Excursion
Enjoy our area’s vibrant fall foliage colors on board a restored 1920’s passenger rail car. A diesel engine from the Lycoming Valley Railroad takes the cars along for a scenic ride.
